Alvin Lee Fleming

I remember working on the movie made for TV named "White Lies" being filmed in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. I was hired as a Street Performer Skate/Dancer to perform on the street corner to add to the scene that was to represent downtown Manhattan, New York. During the taping and in the middle of the shoot, Mr. Gregory Hines Actor/ Tap Dancer, Singer, and a man of many talent walked over to my area to talk to me. To me of our conversation what stood out most was that he was really fascinated on how I could perform my Skate/Dance moves so effortlessly on that concrete sidewalk, in such a small area, that my moves were like Tap Dancing. He also told me to keep up the great work on my performances and future endeavors.

Speaking truth to power, Mr. Gregory Hine taking the time in the middle of this shoot to share his words of wisdom, him sharing the knowledge and his encouragement really set the tone for my Street Performer Skate/Dance Acting career for years to come. Today in 2021 and throughout my career as a Street Performer Skate\Dance work is what I have done over the years and throughout my career, also by keeping in physical shape, by being prepared, on time, discipline, flexible to be able wear different hats etc.., all said it has opened many, many doors for me including," Acting". Real talk, I know that my chances of winning an Academy Award are very, very slim. However, thinking outside the box, my ambitions are now to become a character good guy or villain for DC Comic, Marvel Comic or etc.., as a Hip Skate/Dancer Street Performer with superpowers with my superpowers being activated in my Street Performer Skate/Dance moves!! The World is My Skating Rink and My Stage
