Tamas Nadas is a Hungarian-American actor, producer, and former three-time World and European Karate Champion turned decorated police detective. Born in Hungary, he built an accomplished career in law enforcement in Albuquerque, earning the prestigious Life Saving Award among others, and national recognition on NBC for his public service.
After retiring from the police force, Tamas pursued his lifelong passion for storytelling. He studied acting in New York at the T. Schreiber Studio and later in Los Angeles at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, where he was also accepted into the Ivana Chubbuck Studio.
His transition into film led him to produce independent titles such as The Wraith, Millennium Bugs, and Captive. In 2023, he produced Boneyard starring Mel Gibson and 50 Cent, released by Lionsgate in 2024. As co-founder of Desert Reign Films, Tamas blends the discipline of a martial artist, the integrity of a public servant, and the creative instincts of a filmmaker-bringing authenticity, dedication, and impactful storytelling to every project he undertakes.
