Thomas Marcum was born in Bell County, Kentucky. His father was a coal miner and his mother a homemaker. Thomas is also the founder/leader of the cryptozoology and paranormal research organization known as The Crypto Crew. He has over 20 years experience with research and investigation of unexplained activity, working with video and websites, and is certified in Dreamweaver. He is a nature and wildlife enthusiast with many years of experience hunting, fishing and hiking. He's also a trained wild land firefighter, and a published photographer, Author, Film maker and poet. He also appears at numerous events and on various radio and podcast.
