The NBA legend who released four hip-hop albums in the ‘90s will drop a new single called “King Talk” on May 2 in celebration of the NBA Playoffs. It is a collaboration with Ghanian-American rapper Blackway.

O’Neal first teased the song on Feb. 7 on his Twitter, Instagram and TikTok in an animation video that celebrated LeBron James passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.

Cory Gunz is out on bail, but the Young Money rapper is not out of the woods just yet.

On Saturday afternoon, Gunz was arrested in the Bronx, New York, after cops searched his backpack and found an unregistered Taurus .9mm pistol. He was charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm and, if convicted, faces a mandatory minimum sentence of three and a half years in jail.

"This was a big mistake on my part," Gunz told the New York Daily News early Monday morning after his dad, Peter Gunz, posted the $30,000 bail. "I didn't have any intentions of harming anyone or committing a criminal activity. So many young people look up to me and I need to fight through this.

Veteran Bronx Mc Peter Gunz confirmed to MTV News early Sunday (January 29) that his son, rapper Cory Gunz, was arrested for gun possession in the Bronx, New York, on Saturday afternoon.

"The details are still sketchy, but I can confirm that he was arrested with a firearm yesterday in the Bronx," Gunz told MTV News. "They caught him around 2 p.m. in the afternoon with a loaded gun in his knapsack.

"It was definitely an illegal search," Peter added.

Gunz was unable to disclose full details on the incident just yet, but he explained the events leading up to his son's arrest. "I spoke to the arresting officer, and so far, what I'm hearing from him is...

Cory Gunz hasn't had much luck with his last two record deals, but on his third and possibly final shot, MTV has their cameras rolling to capture all the trials and tribulations along the way.

The rapping son of formerly famous Peter Gunz, Cory hopes to take his career to levels his father could never reach. Previously signed to both Casablanca and Def Jam, the young rapper must decide which record label to go to next, all while dealing with the blurred lines between family, friends and business.
