Damian C. King

After graduating with a BFA in performance from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010, Damian C. King has become a prolific filmmaker who has been working successfully in the film industry for the past decade. He has accumulated over 35 combined credits as a producer/director alone, having created hundreds of episodes, features and shorts for web and television-based content.

Damian is a rarity in production: a man with expertise in every vital area. In addition to his directing and producing credits, he is a veteran first assistant director and stunt coordinator, which has given him an incredible mastery of knowledge over film logistics. Notably, he produced and directed the award-winning web series "Project Child: Origins", a few episodes of the multi-million view YouTube Sensation "Cartoon Hookups", and a travel show called "Weird World Adventures" which is finishing its first season and airs on the VIDI Space platform. In 2019, he produced the star-studded whodunit "Manipulated", which was the premiere feature and an award winner in the Louisville Film Festival, as well as a horror comedy entitled "Geisting" which starred notable horror personality Bonnie Aarons. In 2022 He released the sequel to the Netflix success "The Wedding Pact 2: the Baby Pact", which streams on a wide variety of platforms.

An avid believer in supporting the next generation of filmmakers, Damian has mentored members and graduates of several film schools including the American Film Institute where he frequently donated his time. He even joined a few promising graduates on an ambitious documentary-feature tentatively entitled "The Nightmare Machine" and was happy to come on board. During his summers, he volunteers with young children teaching the basics of fight choreography at camp. In addition, he joined an ambitious team to produce a charity-focused feature for kids by kids entitled "Kids Can!"

Recently Damian wrote and Directed his first Scify Feature "Project Child: The Perfect Knight, which was an incredible undertaking with impressive spectacle and promise. From the Television Pilot "Shadow of the Future", to the romantic Drama feature "Love and it's Consequences" and even an action comedy "Dads" Damian has a broad spectrum of exciting projects ready to go. Along with this, he has begun seeking financing for his second screenplay "Revamped" which combines his love of table-top gaming with old adventure films. He is attached as director.

Damian is an entrepreneur with three different business faces. He formed the production company "Fantasy Forge Films" his personal film company, and co-created "Psy Spark Productions" which focuses on Big projects with his creative partner Robin Deeter, and developed his personal face "Vicious Avarice" to manage his writing career, which includes award-winning poetry and a focus on fantasy stories.
