Fred is the son of two Argentinean medical doctors, Alberto and Diana. Fred's grand-parents were Jews from Poland, Russia and Romania. Fred's grand-father Leizer Eger was a tailor in a small town south of Lodz, Poland. Grand-father Jaime Litovsky was an entrepreneur. Fred is married to Julia Koscejeva (Julia Egera), a born and raised russian-speaking Latvian national, and have a son together, Zachary. In the past 20 years international experience, Fred lived and worked in 5 countries and traveled in over 40.

Holds a BA in History from the University Paris I - Sorbonne (1997), and a, Certificate in Producing from the UCLA School of Theater Film and Television Professional Program (2002).
