Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, Chad Knorr is a seasoned stunt coordinator and stunt performer with more than 21 years of experience in the film and television industry. His unique blend of real-world tactical training and creative action design has made him a highly respected figure in the stunt community.
Before entering the entertainment industry, Chad served 17 years as a police officer, retiring at the rank of Sergeant. During his law enforcement career, he became a certified firearms instructor (handgun, shotgun, and rifle) and a tactical firearms instructor, training officers in advanced combat and high-risk scenario tactics. He then served five years as an investigator with a United States Intelligence Agency, holding a Top Secret security clearance.
Chad is a SAG-AFTRA Certified Stunt Coordinator known for his professionalism, precision, and strong focus on safety. He is OSHA 30 certified in General Industry Standards, with a specific focus on stunt safety, ensuring all action is executed with the highest regard for crew and performer well-being.
In addition to coordinating action, Chad has performed stunts in a wide range of high-profile productions, bringing authenticity and intensity to every scene. Chad is a trained and experienced Stunt Driver. He has a CDL Class A (tractor trailer) license. He has also attended Police Motorcycle Officer School (civilian). Additionally, he is a Certified Rescue Diver and has contributed to numerous projects in the role of Stunt Water Safety.
