Ayse Muge

Turkish-British female filmmaker. Her journey started with stage, ballet at the age of 6 -which will last for 12 years. At the age of 14, she joined evening stage school, training in musicals. She transferred and advanced her skills from stage to screen and obtained her BA on Cinema & TV at Istanbul Bilgi University. She also studied "Acting For Film" New York Film Academy. She received Master's Degree on TV & Video Production at Bournemouth University. She had her first work experience in the U.K at Working Title Films during the productions of Johnny English. She worked as the director/scriptwriter and presenter of Turkish National Channel - TRT1 Children's Show - '1dakika 1dünya' (1 minute 1 world) - the TV program traveled Turkey and provided visual storytelling and filmmaking training to youngsters at their hometowns. The Show won the Jury Award at Olympia Camera Zizanio Film Festival. She was nominated as British Council's Film & TV Entrepreneur Award with "Little Footprints". Her short films participated in numerous short film festivals. She worked as production co-coordinator/manager and covid supervisor (during the pandemic). In the recent years, her love of theatre brought her back to stage.She wrote and directed plays for the stage and worked as stage manager for immersive shows. She is a fellow of RSA and a founding member of Primetime.
