Biography

    • Blake DeLong is an American actor who has worked with a distinguished group of visionary film directors, including Spike Lee, Lynne Ramsay, Ava DuVernay, Lee Daniels, Michael Almereyda, Nisha Ganatra and others. A sixth-generation native Texan now based in New York City, DeLong is a perennial mainstay of stage and screen. He was nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award (Off-Broadway's highest honor) recognizing his work in the smash hit Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812. Other New York stage credits include roles at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, The Public Theater, and New York Theater Workshop, where he appeared alongside Daniel Craig in Othello. Matt Muir's 2014 SXSW selection, Thank You a Lot, introduced DeLong to American and international cinema audiences. Since then he has appeared in a multitude of feature films and television series, and is often praised for his psychologically complex performances. Most recently he won critical acclaim in Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman on Broadway, opposite Wendell Pierce.
