Viktor Ageyev is a Soviet water polo player, silver and twice bronze medalist of the Olympic Games. Honored Master of Sports of the USSR. At his first Olympics in Melbourne 1956: Games of the XVI Olympiad (1956), he won a bronze medal as part of the USSR National Team and played 3 matches in the tournament. At the next Games in Rome 1960: Games of the XVII Olympiad (1960), the USSR won silver, and Ageyev played only two matches. In Tokyo 1964: Games of the XVIII Olympiad (1964), he again became a bronze medalist, having played 6 matches and scoring 2 goals.

Viktor Ivanovich Ageyev passed away on January 30, 2023.
