Chris Chapman was born in Northampton, and grew up in the nearby Braunston before moving to Burbage in Leicestershire.
He studied at university in Bangor and Newcastle before starting his TV career as a Researcher with Granada Factual North in 2005.
In 2007, Chris moved to work at the Newcastle based Dene Films as an Assistant Producer, and was promoted to Director the following year. He turned freelance in 2013 and now lives in Bristol.
