Biography

Daniel is the son of James Outram, an aviation insurance broker, and Caroline Neville, an actress (stage name Caroline Whitaker). After studying Psychology at Glasgow University, Daniel began his directing career with a commercial (BSM 'Cruise') which won 2nd prize at the Young Directors awards at the Cannes Lions advertising festival 2004. Since then he has directed a short film (A Supermarket Love Song (2006)) which premiered at Sundance 2006 and won a few awards on the festival circuit. (2013) Currently studying a Screenwriting MA at the London Film School.
