Nick Francis is an award winning director whose first feature film was
released in cinemas and broadcast in over 20 countries around the
world. He was chosen by Harper's Bazaar magazine as one of their "Forty
Under 40; the household names of the future", and named by the Observer
as one of Britain's "Rising Stars" of 2007. His work has been supported
by the Sundance Institute, the Channel 4 British Documentary Film
Foundation, and the UK Film Council. His latest film is a feature
documentary about the lives of Chinese people in Africa. Backed by
Arte, it is due for release in 2009.
