Alex De Luca is a British actor and filmmaker whose career began on stage as the Artful Dodger in Oliver! At the Winter Gardens in Margate. After an early interest in acting, Alex served in the Royal Air Force as a Crash Rescue Firefighter, where he developed a passion for filmmaking through producing training videos and documentaries.
Following his service, Alex trained in media production as part of his resettlement, which led to a career in scripted film and television. He has worked in a wide range of roles, including Director, Director of Photography, Writer, Producer, and 1st Assistant Director.
Alex has received multiple awards for writing, directing, and cinematography, and recently served as 1st Assistant Director to Tosca Musk, contributing to high-profile international productions. He is also the co-founder of Danum Filmworks, a growing production company specialising in bold, narrative-driven content.
