Darren Day's wife has reportedly moved out of the matrimonial home and accused the ex-tv presenter of sleeping with his former-fiancée Suzanne Shaw. Stephanie Dooley claimed that the one-time couple, who have a son named Corey, spent the night in each other's company six weeks ago and rubbished their insistence that nothing happened. British entertainer Darren Day has split from his wife of nearly three years.

The 41 year old, who was previously engaged to Confessions of a Shopaholic star Isla Fisher and Pushing Daisies actress Anna Friel, married Stephanie Dooley in 2007 and they have a three-year-old daughter, Madison.

But the couple has now announced they have parted ways.

A spokesman for Day confirmed the news to British newspaper The News of the World: "Stephanie and Darren have separated."

Day is currently caught up in a drink-driving case after he crashed his sportscar in Edinburgh, Scotland last year.

He admitted the offence of driving while over the legal alcohol limit and failing to stop to give his name and address after a traffic accident, but is set to contest three other charges.
