Jerome Leroy is an award-winning composer who writes and produces original music for visual media, with credits encompassing a wide gamut of projects, from independent productions to studio blockbusters. He started his career by composing music to numerous internationally-recognized short films, including Taking The Plunge, winner of a coveted Student Academy Award.
Since then, Jerome has written music for feature films such as The Housemaid (Golden Lotus for Best Score at the Vietnam Film Festival), Killers Within, and A Better Place, New Line Cinema's A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, Touchback (starring Kurt Russell), and 50 To 1, directed by Academy Award winner Jim Wilson. His credits in the film industry also includes Lionsgate's tentpole movie The Hunger Games, Universal Pictures' animated film The Tale of Despereaux, and The Liberator, with music by LA Phil Music Director Gustavo Dudamel. Over the years, he also collaborated on more than forty films as orchestrator and score producer.
In television, Jerome co-composed the original scores to Hallmark Hall of Fame's One Christmas Eve, directed by Jay Russell, and Crackle's The Throwaways, starring James Caan and Kevin Dillon. His music can be heard on a variety of movies-of-the-week for Hallmark Hall of Fame, Lifetime, and the Hallmark Channel, and he co-produced and wrote music for OWN's uplifting and groundbreaking docuseries Operation Change.
Parallel to his work in linear media, Jerome has written music for video games such as Time Explorer (PC) and MagiWords (iOS), and was orchestrator on AAA titles from 2K Games (Civilization VI) and TenCent Games (Moonlight Blade). His involvement in the game industry also includes arranging music for the 2017 League of Legends World Championships in Beijing.
Finally, as a music producer and consultant, Jerome collaborated with theme park powerhouses Walt Disney Imagineering and Universal Creative to bring to life fan-favorite rides such as Star Tours: The Adventure Continues, Hyperspace Mountain, and Harry Potter and The Escape From Gringotts, and beloved narrative shows such as Mickey and The Magician and Together Forever - A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular.
