Biography

    • Nick Weidenfeld is an Emmy Award-winning television producer and executive. He is currently the President of Programming for Viceland, the youth-oriented television network co-owned by Vice Media and A&E Networks. Brought on to launch the network, he's overseen an ambitious slate of original programming including the nightly talk show "Desus and Mero" which Deadline called "the most relevant" show in late night as well as its first scripted series "What Would Diplo Do" starring James Van Der Beek.

      Weidenfeld's career began in 2004 when he became Head of Development for Adult Swim, where he developed such acclaimed shows as the Peabody Award winning animated series "The Boondocks," as well as "Children's Hospital" "Robot Chicken" and "Rick and Morty."

      In 2012, Weidenfeld was tapped by then FOX President, Kevin Reilly to create ADHD Studios, which developed and produced over 10 animated series for both FOX and FX.

      A native of Washington DC, Weidenfeld attended Columbia University and splits his time between L.A. and New York with his wife and son.
