Dan founded Who's On First in 2017. Prior to this, he spent six years as Head Of Comedy at Ash Atalla's production company, Roughcut Television. In that time, he broke the BBC3 ratings record with Cuckoo and supervised a raft of development deals with US partners including Lionsgate, CBS Studios and HBO.
Dan began his career in theatre. After a stint producing and directing plays on the fringe, he won the inaugural Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award. A move into TV soon followed. Highlights include writing for the darkly satirical, adult animated sketch show, Monkey Dust, producing Gregory Burke's first onscreen drama, One Night In Emergency (BBC), and assembling the creative team behind the critically acclaimed sitcom, Pulling (BBC).
Dan set up Who's On First with the explicit intention of championing a new generation of writers and filmmakers through eye-catching projects.
