Born in a quaint town in the UAE, Omair found the stage as his window to the world. Studying it as far as schooling allowed up to Dubai College and thereon finding his own theatre company, producing, directing and then teaching and training it for almost two decades.
An avid traveller and people watcher, Omair has brought diversity on screen and stage through his characters from playing a Pashtoon Sikh to a troubled intersex transgender, from narrow-minded village father to an International action hero of an Inspector.
