Debra Jean Walsh grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in 1977. Her parents were Jerome Kaczorowski and Florence Tylak. Debbie, as she likes to be called, used her mother's maiden name as her professional name for many years. Later, she changed her name to Debra Jean Walsh, her legal name. She was married to Terence Walsh for almost 35 years until his untimely death in January 2021.

While living in Pittsburgh, Debbie appeared in several local commercials, allowing her to join Screen Actors Guild. She also appeared in several plays and short films in the Pittsburgh area.

She moved to Los Angeles, where she met her husband, Terry Walsh. Debbie and Terry's great love were the movies. They enjoyed seeing movies every weekend for their date night. Terry had an incredible memory for actors. They would watch movies made in the 1940's and Terry could name every actor in the movie! They lived in the San Fernando Valley with their rescue dogs and cats.

Debbie moved from the Los Angeles area to Atlanta recently along with her four rescue dogs and rescue cat. She is enjoying living the country life as are her four dogs and cat.

The entertainment bug never falls from the tree, as her nephew, author and Titanic Historian, William Brower, has written and published over 30 books, and has had a series of his scripts optioned and produced.

Together, they enjoy discussing movies, literature, and pop culture.

    • Trivia
Debbie is a huge Steelers fan! Her group of Pittsburgh friends often got together for Steeler parties, waving their Terrible Towels! It always got interesting when Terry's team, the Chicago Bears played the Pittsburgh Steelers!

Debbie loves animals! She has rescued most of her dogs from the street, pound, or a shelter. The cats were ferals she would take in and rehabilitate so they could be adopted. She hopes to have a farm some day so she could rescue retired race horses.
