From a young age, Vincent had a lively imagination and knew he wanted to become an actor. Acting, singing, and modeling came naturally to him, and he began doing school plays at the age of 7. He started vocal lessons at 9 and began singing as a background singer in the Latin Circuit with his famed Salsa singer father, Johnny Rivera, at 14.
Despite his parents' message of "Education First," his mother and father supported Vincent in following his dreams of becoming an entertainer. At 17, he attended a model/actor search and was immediately signed with theatrical, commercial, and modeling representation, and that's when it all began. Vincent moved to New York when he was in 12th grade to pursue his career in entertainment. After auditioning to attend Professional Performing Arts high School in Manhattan, Vincent was accepted. Vincent's passion for acting led him to attend the prestigious Circle in the Square Theatre School and Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City, where he honed his craft and developed a deeper understanding of the art of acting.
He has appeared in over 100 worldwide, national, and local commercials, including being the face for Carl's Jr, Subway, Ford, Toyota Tacoma, Monticello Student Loans, Gain, Test Drive Unlimited, just to mention a few.
His dedication, discipline, and determination paid off as he landed roles in numerous TV shows and films, including Summerland, where he played Carmen Electra's love interest, and a guest star role in CSI Miami, where he played Armando Diaz. He had a recurring role in Saint George, where he played vaquero alongside George Lopez and Danny Trejo. He has appeared as Silvano in Justified, Ricardo in Days of Our Lives, played the journalist in Queen of the South, Michael in Insane, Jojo in Reality Fright Nights, The Resident aka the devil in The Second Coming of Christ, and Captain Frank Perez in Mayday and FBI agent Rodriguez in both movies distributed by Lionsgate. He is in the new movie called You're Not Alone, playing detective Nelson, and The Stepmother 3, playing the role of Michael Esposito, both of which are Tubi Originals.
