Biography

    • Peter Mortimer is a filmmaker living in Boulder, Colorado, and is the founder of Sender Films and Reel Rock. Through Sender, Peter has produced and directed critically-acclaimed climbing and adventure documentaries, television series and commercials. His productions have won numerous awards.

      In 2006, Peter co-founded Reel Rock with Josh Lowell. Reel Rock produces and screens climbing films to audiences globally through an annual traveling festival and through a streaming app Reel Rock Unlimited. Reel Rock regularly collaborates with climbers Alex Honnold, Tommy Caldwell, Margo Hayes, and more.

      Peter received his BA from Colorado College, and his MFA from USC Film School. He is married to Joss Corkin and has two kids, Pia and Xavi.
