Trivia

  • Eminent British philosopher, a proponent of "logical positivism" and the author of a famous book, "Language, Truth And Logic". He occasionally appeared on British television programs.
  • He was a supporter of the Labour Party, but made sure his sons were sent to Eton for their education, which led many to regard him as a hypocrite. He was also notorious as a serial adulterer and was married four times - to three women. His last wife, Dee Wells, married him for the second time only a few weeks before his death, perhaps because she wanted to look after him at the end.
