Chris Berkenkamp was born in Newport Beach, California on January 23,
1981 to Charles and Elizabeth Berkenkamp. He was raised in Phoenix,
Arizona where he attended Brophy College Preparatory, a Jesuit all boys
high school located in North Central Phoenix, where he excelled in
English Literature. After receiving a full ride scholarship to study
cinema at Loyola Marymount University School of Film and TV he moved to
Los Angeles where he currently resides. Chris, along with his business
partner Nat McCormick, founded DionysusCompany Entertainment while in
college and continue to run its spinoff, onesixtwosix productions. The
company is currently in production of a slate of TV pilots with Size 12
Productions and Insomnia Media Group, and are actively developing
feature films.
Aside from film, Chris is an avid music lover and supports environmental and social consciousness efforts.
