Grace Cassidy
Grace Cassidy, RADA trained actress and award-winning writer-director, was born and raised in Salford, Greater Manchester, she has both Irish and Welsh heritage. Her first screen appearance, aged eleven, was in Marian, Again (2005) a television film by Company Pictures. Auditioning when she was just thirteen, Grace was one of the youngest ever actresses to train with the prestigious National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, which boasts names including Helen Mirren and Rosamund Pike amongst its membership. She has since gone on to work as a series regular on numerous hit television programmes such as Grange Hill (1978), The Chase (2006), Emmerdale Farm (1972), The Street (2006) with Doctor Who (2005) star Matt Smith and Mr. Turner (2014) actor Timothy Spall, and Father Brown (2013) alongside Harry Potter à l'école des sorciers (2001) actor Mark Williams. Grace graduated with a First Class Honours in Drama and Theatre Arts from Goldsmiths University of London before going on to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. In 2023, Grace won best screenplay for her short film 'White Gold' at the BIFA/BFI accredited 'Women X' Film Festival. In 2025, Grace's film 'Split Ends' was a winner in the Straight 8 short film competition and was selected in the top 25 to be premiered at the BFI IMAX London. Grace is the sister of Raffey Cassidy, known for The Brutalist (2024) and Finney Cassidy, known for The Pendragon Cycle (2025).
