Calum Ross is an accomplished film editor, who's driven by his unwavering passion for storytelling and his relentless pursuit of perfection.

As a child Calum dreamt of escaping the Highlands of Scotland and having an adventure. Ironically the Highlands was where his adventure as a film editor began, working on the hit BBC show Monarch of the Glen. Quickly moving from trainee to full editor, Calum has gone on to work on many award winning projects from the cult classic Shameless, to Michaela Cole's Bafta Winning Chewing Gum. Calum's breakthrough came when the acclaimed director Kate Heron asked him to join her on what would become the hit Netflix series, Sex Education. His remarkable work on the show demonstrated his ability to seamlessly blend humour, drama, and heart, earning him accolades from both audiences and industry peers.

The pinnacle of Calum's career came when his continuing collaboration with Kate Herron led to him being asked to work on the groundbreaking series Loki, a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His exceptional talent in handling complex storylines, action-packed sequences and detailed visual effects, helped Loki become an instant hit, captivating audiences worldwide.

With the success of Loki propelling his career forward, Calum soon found himself editing on the highly engaging Warner Bros series Pennyworth. This unique take on the backstory of Batman's trusted butler allowed Calum to explore new creative dimensions, merging action, intrigue, and character-driven storytelling into a thrilling narrative.

Known for his collaborative spirit and ability to understand and enhance a director's vision, Calum has become a sought-after collaborator in the film and tv industry. He brings a unique perspective to every project he undertakes, ensuring that the emotional depth and pacing of each story resonates with viewers on a profound level. Over the years, Calum has showcased a range of storytelling techniques, solidifying his reputation as a trusted and talented editor. He continues to make an impact on the television industry.
