James Schrader

James Schrader was born in Miami Florida in February of 1982 and grew up in Islamorada. (The Florida Keys). After a divorce and leaving the construction industry in 2012, James made his way around the country hitting open mics and attending the IO (Improv Olympic) Summer Intensive Program. Once in San Diego James became a regular performer at The La Jolla Comedy Store, The Mad House Comedy Club, The American Comedy Co. and The Comedy Palace. James is most recognized at the face of Dr. Squatch Natural Soap for Men. In 2018 James was hired to write and play the lead in an ad that passed 100 Million Views in a few years. He has continued to be the face of Dr. Squatch and the ads now have over 1 Billion Views and hundred of millions in sales. His commercial talents have been used by William Painter Sunglasses, Discount Tire, and a number of other brands. He still performs comedy all over the country and has a number of side projects in production.
