Biography

    • Born in Chicago to German father and Swedish American mother. Held a series of odd jobs at such places as CBGB's, Outlaw Biker Magazine, and St. Peter's Church while publishing short stories and prose in underground literary magazines throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s. Got her start in film translating the narrative script from French into English for the documentary "Peru: Between the Hammer and the Anvil," which went on to win 2nd place at the AFI 12th Annual Visions of US Home Video Film Festival. Shortly thereafter moved to Los Angeles to pursue screen writing.
