17 years of experience in the film and television industry began in December 1990. It was the year Dana Riddick set out on her journey into the constant hustle and bustle of an existing fantasy land, which began within the exclusive confines of Warner Bros. Studios, Burbank. This is where her adventure started, as a Marketing Coordinator for Warner Bros. Film Distribution. Over the course of five years, Dana worked in conjunction with the studios internal Marketing and Public Relations Departments on several major / notable films such as Good Fellas, New Jack City, The Mambo Kings, Malcolm X, JFK, Interview with a Vampire and Heat, just to name a few.

In 1995 Dana decided to make the transition from theatrical films to TV and joined the then thriving and explosive world of Warner Bros Television! However, her initial attempt was not successful, because it did not take her into the direction of Marketing and Public Relations, instead she was offered a position in Post Production as an Estimator; overseeing the post expenditures for several accounts. Never one to run away from taking chances and seeking new adventures, Dana accepted the position, which thankfully led her into a whole new direction and right into the lap of production. Over the course of three years, she worked on several major television shows, such as Lois and Clark (Superman), ER, Drew Carey, Friends, Family Matters, The Jamie Foxx Show and more. She worked closely with the executive producers, as well as the post supervisors, editors, assistant editors. Thanks to her relationships with the shows, she was able to learn and participate in everything related to post. From sound mixes to looping sessions; the studio became her new university and she welcomed the newfound education with open arms.

In 1998, after learning as much as she could with post and always seeking a new challenge, Dana set her eyes on production. Contacts are one thing, but experience is another. So she worked as an assistant to the executive producers Joseph Dougherty (Hyperion Bay), Frank South (Hyperion Bay, Melrose Place) and later for Dianne Burroughs and Joey Gutierrez (The Drew Carey Show). This allowed her a direct opportunity and access to participate in production meetings, writing sessions, on set / location shoots, casting sessions, as well as weekly episodic edit sessions.

In 2000 and after time well spent in television, Dana decided to return back to her roots of theatrical film marketing and publicity. Enter Bel Air Entertainment! Bel Air Entertainment, fka Regency, was based on the Warner Bros lot. Over the course of two years Dana worked as the Manager of Worldwide Marketing. She oversaw fulfillment of marketing materials (a/v & print), supervised all special pr / marketing events, developed promotional ideas, constantly interfaced directly with filmmakers, talent, studio executives and press. She worked in conjunction with Warner Bros public relations, marketing/creative advertising, Studio/Canal-Plus and Bel Air Entertainment's owner/film producer, Steven Reuther on the marketing campaigns for such notable films as Pay It Forward, Sweet November, Rock Star and Collateral Damage.

During the summer of 2002 Dana took some much needed time off and decided to travel abroad for two months. Upon her return she received a non-solicited offer, from an executive at 20th Century Fox Feature Films Creative Advertising. Dana was offered a position as Manager Theatrical Creative Advertising/Marketing. She worked directly with studio executives, filmmakers, talent and vendors. She interfaced daily with the studio's domestic and international marketing, publicity, distribution and media departments. She supervised, reviewed along with EVP of department all marketing campaigns a/v (trailers/tv) and print. She line-produced, coordinated all [on-set] special a/v, vfx, print photo shoots, as well as ADR sessions with talent.

In 2004 Dana joined New Wave Entertainment as a Production Manager / Producer. For nearly four years she worked in conjunction with both staff and freelance producers to coordinate HD-DVD, EPK, Special Film, Television, Graphics as well as Music-related shoots; both domestic and international based. She was responsible for supervising shoots, maintaining / monitoring extensive budgets. During her time at New Wave she worked on numerous projects and produced several; such as 2005 DVD Exclusive Awards (co-produced along with publication rep); produced several music-related projects and worked closely with each notable artist such as Usher, Britney Spears, Weird Al, 3 Days Grace, Nick Lachey and Samantha Jade; produced (post only) Making of: Jennifer Lopez Live in Puerto Rico Concert. Dana's final project prior to her departure in March 2008, a 90-minute documentary, Why We Laugh.

Dana's current projects have taken her back full circle into the reality-world of television. She recently produced / field produced in Miami, FL, Around the World With Kelly Rowland, as well as a UK-based music show, entitled "The Dream Maker" in Los Angeles and Atlanta.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Dana's family originates from Slidell and New Orleans, Lousiana - her "home away from home." Dana currently resides in Los Angeles where she continues to work as a freelance producer for outside production houses, studios as well as actively pursuing her own television related projects.
