Bruno Hernandez is an Argentinian director with a knack for crafting visually striking stories that resonate across international markets. Known for his versatility and collaborative spirit, Bruno has directed ten feature films in the United States, including buzzworthy titles like Mommy's Deadly Secret (2024), The Hand That Robs the Cradle (2023), The Replacement Daughter (2024), and Secrets on Greek Row (2023). His ability to balance genre storytelling with a sharp visual aesthetic has made him a sought-after director.
Bruno helmed groundbreaking projects like EDHA, Netflix's first Argentinian original series, and Supermax, Rede Globo's inaugural Spanish-language series-a trailblazing co-production spanning Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico.
His debut feature, 8 Shots, set the tone for his career, earning a nomination for Best First Feature by the Argentine Academy and winning the Amsterdam Film Festival. Acquired by Sony International, the film hit theaters in 2016, marking him as a talent to watch.
Beyond his completed works, Bruno is developing an exciting slate of new projects. The Trafficker, selected for the prestigious "18th Course for the Development of Ibero-American Film Projects" by the Carolina Foundation and Ibermedia, is one of his standout ventures. He's also working on the documentary Odessa and collaborating with writers' rooms across the U.S., Spain, and the Netherlands on projects that promise to push creative boundaries.
Bruno's roots as a first assistant director honed his organizational acumen and his talent for fostering seamless collaboration with producers, writers, and creatives. With an MA in Film Directing from the Netherlands Film Academy and another in Screenwriting from ESCAC in Barcelona, he's armed with the expertise and vision to understand the unique characteristics of every project and tackle its challenges with creativity and precision.
