"Woman's Prison"
A.C. McCray is an actor from Fort Wayne, Indiana. He grew up with a steady diet of 1980's pop culture that included everything from pop music to slasher films. At an early age, testing revealed a high IQ, and his constant on the go pace made it difficult for his anyone to keep up with him. After a very rough childhood, he turned his attention to more creative avenues.

In high school, he was encouraged to get into acting by mentor Randy Stewart. He spent his time in high school starting to hone his craft. His senior year, he was offered a scholarship to a prestigious school for acting. In what he calls the biggest mistake of his life, A.C. turned it down to stay closer to what he knew. He continued to work as a stage actor and director locally, which included co-owning his own theater in Fort Wayne from 2005-2010. His first break in film came in 2008 when cast for Katie Madonna Lee's The Execution of Julie Ann Mabry in a small role. He continued to book other roles regularly after that.

His journey into film was temporarily stalled when he also faced a year of personal tragedy in 2011. That year, McCray unexpectedly lost his infant son and grandmother just a few months apart from one another. A.C. fought through his pain, and spent 2012 writing and directing his film debut, The Destination - which was released 1 year to the day of his son's passing. The film's premiere screening raised money for Riley Children's Hospital. Revitalized and refocused, McCray jumped back into films in 2013, and hasn't looked back since.

He is most known for his role as Sluggo in HM&M Films' popular splatstick horror comedy series, House of Whores. He has also been seen alongside Bruce Campbell and the casts of the Evil Dead franchise in 2021's documentary, Hail to the Deadites. A.C. will also be appearing in Troma Films' upcoming LGBTQ Horror Rock Musical, Kill Dolly Kill: Dolly Deadly 2, and NYC Filmmaker Jeremy Max's upcoming project, Dream Girl.

A.C. may be best known for his horror and comedy abilities, A.C. loves challenges a dramatic role can bring.

McCray has shown through his life that if you keep your mind on something, you can achieve whatever you want. He hosts the Infamous Horror Podcast for the IH Network, and is working on a book of true short stories based on events in his life. A.C. McCray resides in Chicago, IL with his family.
