Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, she started acting at the age of 12 where she had the lead role in her 6th grade musical. While in school she participated in various other productions until she went off to college.
Graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in Sports Management, she worked as the Fitness Director in several nationwide health club chains throughout the years. She eventually moved to Austin where she jumped back into acting. She is a founding member of A Working Group in Austin and trained in the Meisner Technique with Richard Robichaux.
