Born in Paris, France, Jean Claude Ricquebourg is a versatile international actor fluent in French, Spanish, and English. He made his television debut in 2015, co-starring with Miryam Gallego and multiple award-winning actress Carmen Maura as a 17th-century justice officer in the acclaimed series Águila Roja (2009) (Red Eagle). In 2016, he appeared as a French WWI captain alongside Jean Reno in La promesse (2016), starring Christian Bale and directed by Terry George.
In 2017 he worked with Jose Coronado in Permis de vivre (2018). The following years he worked consistently in several Tv series in Spain, and wrote his first feature film El último viaje.
In 2019, he co-starred as Captain Davis in five episodes of the Iranian Channel 1 TV series "Everlasting Days". Returning to Spain, he played the antagonist "Lombard" in the infamous TV series Los hombres de Paco (2005) with Paco Tous and Pepón Nieto.
In 2024, he starred as Christopher Columbus in the documentary Colón ADN, su verdadero origen (2024), which premiered on October 12, 2024, on Spain's La 1 channel, and attracted over 5 millions viewers.
