Rinat Dasaev is a Soviet football goalkeeper.

Considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world of the 1980s. Honored Master of Sports of the USSR (1988). Silver medalist of the 1988 European Championship. Bronze medalist of the 1980 Olympic Games. USSR champion in football 1979, 1987. First winner of the "World's Best Goalkeeper" prize (1988).

Dasaev started his football career in Astrakhan, where in 1975 he took a place at the Volgar team. Dasaev played his first game on August 5, 1975 in Volgar's away game in Groznyy against Terek. In 1979-1988 he was the main goalkeeper of the Moscow "Spartak", from 1979 to 1990 - the goalkeeper of the USSR national team.
