Maria Kallimani

Maria Kallimani was born in Aigio, Greece. She graduated from Athens University (Archaeology and History of Art) and the "Empros" Theatre Drama School in 1996. She speaks English and French. She has collaborated with important directors on the free stage, at the National Theater, as well as at the Athens and Epidaurus Festival. She has starred in the following films: Homeland dir. Syllas Tzoumerkas which had its premiere at the Venice Film Festival 2010, Knifer dir. Yiannis Economides 2010, for her role she was nominated for Best Actress award at the Hellenic Film Academy.
