This post contains mild spoilers for "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania."

Michelle Pfeiffer is a national treasure. Finding out that she was playing Janet van Dyne in 2018's "Ant-Man and The Wasp" was a revelation. Although she was a pivotal part of that film, she wasn't the focus. In the upcoming movie, "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania," Pfeiffer's Janet gets a far bigger role, and we find out more (as you can see from the trailers) about her 30 years in the quantum realm.

What we've already seen of the realm is fascinating, with giant tardigrades and weird rock and plant formations. In "Quantumania," we'll also learn about not only the people who live there -- including Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors) -- but the other denizens of this world beneath ours. Janet hasn't been telling her family everything about her adventures, you see, but she no longer has any choice...

1st Summoning was originally titled The Millbrook Summoning. Now, this indie horror title is slated to release in late February (Digital) and mid April (Blu-ray). In the film, four student filmmakers uncover strange occult practices, in a remote warehouse. Here, they cannot escape what lays in store for them. 1st Summoning is a film from director Raymond Wood (The Canadoo). As well, this title stars: Hayley Lovitt ("Sleepy Hollow"), Jason MacDonald ("The Vampire Diaries"), Teddy Cole and Brook Todd. A preview of the film's home entertainment release is available now. The official trailer shows the four filmmakers and their early interviews. A legend is revealed, which requires a ritual at midnight. If the filmmakers perform the ritual, they can have anything they want. But, they must pay a price. Also, the film's official graphic is here. The blood red movie poster shows a scarred character, with a tagline: "Evil Lies Within.

One of the most pleasant surprises in Marvel’s Ant-Man was the appearance of Janet van Dyne in full costume as The Wasp during a brief flashback sequence depicting her apparent death. While we knew going in that the character wasn’t part of the present day Marvel Cinematic Universe, no one expected to see the fan-favourite character in action, and her ’60s era costume looked awesome.

Hayley Lovitt played The Wasp in Ant-Man, but we never actually saw her face, possibly because Marvel has plans for the hero further down the line and will cast a bigger name when those come to fruition.

Those involved with the movie have pretty much confirmed that there was a hint Janet is still trapped in the Quantum Realm and that a future Ant-Man movie is going to deal with Scott and Hope journeying there to rescue Hank’s wife. One popular casting...
