Jen was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She has a twin brother, Tim, and is the big sister to stand-up comedian Jessica Mears. After studying theatre in high school and college, Jen graduated from Florida Southern College with a BA in Theatre Performance in 2007. Since then she has worked at professional theatres in Kentucky, Florida, North Carolina, and Northern California. Jen made her move to Hollywood in September 2009 to pursue a career in film and television. Jen is also a professional hand model and a writer/producer for the comedic web series Wing Girlz, in which she plays "Lexi".
