British Soap Awards 2012 Winners – Eastenders & Corrie Take 7 Wins
The winners of this years British Soap Awards 2012 have been announced. The ceremony held on Saturday night (28th April) was hosted by Phillip Schofield and the usual war between Eastenders and Coronation Street ended in a tie this year with both soaps taking home seven awards.

However, Eastenders got the biggest gong as it was named Best Soap again. Pam St Clement (Pat) was given the Lifetime Achievement Award and Eastenders writer Simon Ashdown got the Special Achievement Award.

The full list can be found below, the winners are highlighted red. The ceremony can be seen in full on ITV1 on Wednesday 2nd May.
