Tracy Nystrom is a Seattle-based cinematographer and photographer who
captures images of fearless, raw, and unique individuals.
Born in Bremerton, Washington, his early years were spent between there, California, and the island of O'Oahu, Hawaii. He attended college in Idaho before transferring and finishing his Bachelor's of Science in Geography at Brigham Young University - Utah in 2009. While there, Tracy Nystrom pursued a Minor in Media Arts (Cinematography emphasis) and studied Sociology, Anthropology, Creative Advertising, Marketing, Graphic Design, and Journalism in order to create a custom, in-depth, and instantly applicable creative education.
Since graduation, he's had a successful career in the filmmaking industry and works closely with numerous award-winning filmmakers, actors, and high profile clients like Microsoft, Boeing, Amazon.com, Samsung, T-Mobile, creativeLIVE, and chasejarvisLIVE. These include talents such as Danny Boyle, Anthony Dodd Mantle, and James Franco while on the set of the Oscar-Nominated film "127 Hours," Jared Hess, Sam Rockwell, Mike White, and Michael Angarano on "Gentlemen Broncos," and other films including Ellen Page, Matthew Lillard, Michael Pitt, Will Patton, and more.
In 2014, Tracy formed Nystrom Visuals (NV), a Seattle-based, high-end visual production company that specializes in producing action/adventure content that engages, excites, and fosters the fearlessness that's within us all.
