    • One of the most prominent names in the 1980's filmmakers' generation in Egypt who were dubbed by the critics as the new Egyptian realism filmmakers in Egyptian cinema - now considered the Egyptian cinema knights with Daoud Abdel Sayed, Khairi Bishara, Atef al-Tayeb and Mohammed Khan.

      Ghali was considered to be their voyage companion since the late seventies until even the nineties... He wrote the screenplays for many of his generation's debut films, as for Hisham Abul Nasr's best film "Al-Aqmar" in 1978, as well as, for Mohammed Khan's debut film "Sun Stroke" in 1980 and with whom he made two more films: "Revenge" in 1982 and " Knight of the City" in 1992.

      Ghali also wrote the screenplay for Khairy Beshara's Debut film, "Floating House no. 70" in 1991, and with whom, he made one of the most important films in Egyptian Cinema history "Bitter Day, Sweet Day" starring the Epic Faten Hamama in 1988. Later on, in 1990, Fayez wrote the screenplay for Tariq al-Arian's debut hit film "The Emperor" starring the Epic Ahmed Zaki.

      Born in Cairo on July 20, 1946, He lived since his childhood in Shubra Then joined the Faculty of Literature, the Philosophical and Social Studies Department at Alexandria University where he graduated in 1966, Ghali wrote his first black-and-white TV series "A point of View" screened in 1974 and then pursued his career in cinema After his Debut film screenplay "Al-Aqmar" in 1978 directed by Hisham Abul Nasr. At the same time, he was one of the Egyptian film critics who grew up in the shadow of Egyptian cinema associations and clubs since the late sixties & early seventies as he received a postgraduate diploma in criticism from the Higher Institute of Art Criticism in 1975, as he wrote Many articles & film reviews in Cairo Cinema Clubs' bulletins and specialized Arab film magazines, before the screenplay writing process took his time completely.

      Ghali was also a member of: the Egyptian Film Critics' Union, the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) and a member of the Egyptian writers & Film Critics Association.

      Fayez Ghali also worked with a number of other directors in many important films, such as Ashraf Fahmy in the movie "Woman under Surveillance" in 2000 starring Nabila Ebeid and Inaam Muhammad Ali in one of the most important Egyptian war films "The Road to Eilat, " in 1995, but he passed away before fulfilling his biggest dream "Jesus and the other", which is a new vision that will add a lot to the films' collection about Jesus Christ life.
