Biography

    • Steven Brack is an Emmy Award winning actor known for Island of the Cannibal Death Gods (2011), Phoenix Falling (2011) and the critically acclaimed PBS documentary film, Hialeah Speedway: No Guts, No Glory (2012). Born in Miami, Florida, Steven Brack became a stock car racing champion at Miami's Hialeah Speedway in 1981. Steven's film career began in 2006 when he was discovered at South Beach Ironworks Gym by renowned "Teacher To The Stars" - Jay W. Jensen. Brack was screen tested for the Jensen produced film adaptation of Tennessee Williams' one act play, "The Palooka". Brack landed the lead role in the film, which received much acclaim until it was shelved indefinitely due to litigation between Jensen and co-producers of the film. Brack bounced back in 2007, starring in the University Of Miami produced comedy, "The Ace Of Pinecrest Fall". The film won top honors at the 2007 UM Canes Film Festival, receiving the "Best Picture" award. In 2010, Brack read for and landed the lead role in the cult-classic horror film, Island of the Cannibal Death Gods (2011). The film's director, Jeff Freeman and Brack have since developed a working relationship, collaborating on several projects through Freeman's production company, 'Reality's Edge Films'. Steven Brack found his greatest success to date when he landed the lead as host/narrator of the PBS documentary film, Hialeah Speedway: No Guts, No Glory (2012). For his role in the film, Brack was presented with the coveted Emmy Award by The National Academy Of Television Arts And Sciences in November 2013.
