Ashton Swinford (they/them) is a SAG-AFTRA Actor, and the Executive Producer of Paragram Productions, in addition to a Screenwriter, Producer, and Director. Ashton is most recently the writer/creator of the sci-fi project WIZDOM, in which they star as Eos, a professional thief.
Ashton is a graduate of The Stella Adler Studio in NYC, as well as Chicago's Second City Improv + Musical Improv Conservatory Programs. As a New York native, their career brought them to Los Angeles, where they began writing and producing their own comedy projects in addition to performing stand up and musical comedy alongside comedy legend Bob Zmuda in The Comedy Store musical revue "The Tony Clifton Show". As a former Producer for The Onion, Ashton worked with a small team to produce "The A.V. Club Hosted by John Teti", a 30 episode celebrity talk show, now on Amazon Prime, on which Ashton also appeared regularly. Ashton has also performed with artist Marina Abramovic at MOCA in Los Angeles, in addition to their work on camera in FOX's New Girl, Chicago P.D., and indie films like Unleashed, Super Host, + WIZDOM.
Ashton's recent work includes Directing, Producing, and co-writing, two short films "Red Flag" and "Basic Witches", the former of which premiered at the Midwest Film Festival. They are also the Creator, Producer and co-writer of the satirical comedy series "Miss Information" which was featured by the United Nations for International Media Literacy week.
