Johnny Hon is a Hong Kong Chinese businessman and producer best known for his work on Feng zai qi shi (2022), Hua jiao zhi wei (2019), W., l'improbable président (2008), Protégé (2007), Sarcophage (2008) and Una noche (2012).
Johnny has always been passionate about the Arts, particularly film and theatre. This area of interest forms a key part of his business ventures. He has acted as an Executive Producer for film projects from America, Hong Kong, China and Thailand and has worked with directors such as Oliver Stone, Philip Yung, Heiward Mak Hei-yan, Derek Yee and Gong Ying Tian. His theatre exploits include acting as Executive Producer for the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Sunset Boulevard (2016) starring Glenn Close in London's West End.
Johnny Hon has also been a key part of successful television projects. Johnny Hon was the producer behind the Chinese series Da Ren Wu (2006-2007), starring Angelica Lee and Nicholas Tse.
Johnny has also established his personal cinema company in China and is the Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Global Group Films Limited and Global Group Entertainment Limited. In 2015, Johnny Hon was appointed as a director with the UK-based television production studio Infinity Creative Media, where he has collaborated with industry-renowned individuals such as Lord Michael Grade.
