Erik Anthony Reyes was born in Philadelphia PA in 1994' to two parents who struggled heavily with addiction, but was soon relocated and raised in the suburbs of Gilbertsville PA. He is the son of Nelson Reyes who was aspiring artists and mental health advocate who unfortunately passed away in 2019 and he is the grandson of Nelson R DeJesus, a retired Verizon employee and Sylvia Martinez, a stay at home grandmother who raised him and 6 other grandchildren. He is the brother of many different half siblings with their own talents and also has a close knit friend group he calls family as well that he loves getting creative and spending his down time with.. He originally attended college at Bloomsburg University with and Undecided major, knowing he wanted to pursue film and theatre, he made the choice to part ways with the University and decided to start studying film and theatre at Montgomery County Community College meeting some incredible mentors along the way.
He began performing as early as elementary school in choir productions like "The Year Without Santa Claus." (2003) The acting bug never left Erik, as the next few years he would take classes and book more theatre roles and would find himself fortunate enough to be cast very frequently. Shortly thereafter, Erik made the transition to film with credits like Second Sight (2016) as Colemere, or on Investigative Discovery's "The Killer Closer" (2018) as Mary's Husband with his first speaking role on a nationally broadcast television network! After that Erik gained momentum and has been booking commercials, short films, guest star roles.etc Erik Reyes signed to his first agency (2020) after gaining that momentum and has hit full stride as he is signed on for a couple of new projects (2021-2022 release dates) Erik is also looking forward to putting some of his own creative pieces that he has been cultivating and storing into full swing for future productions where he gets to try on a new role as a screen writer/director/producer.
