Joanie was nominated for four awards for Stalker's Dating Guide at the Action on Film Festival including a nomination for Best Actress in a short. Other nomination for Best Comedy Short (script division), Best Adapted Screenplay (script division), Best Actress in a short and Best Produced Screenplay. She won Best Comedy Short and Best Produced Screenplay.
