    • Nadine Truong received her BA degree in Anthropology from UCLA in 2003 and her MFA degree in Directing from the American Film Institute Conservatory in 2009. Prior to graduate school, she worked for various production companies and additionally gained valuable experience in talent representation. She was born and raised in Aachen, Germany to immigrant surgeons from Vietnam. She speaks English, Vietnamese and German fluently. At the age of 16, Nadine moved from Germany to San Jose, California. Nadine has dabbled in photography and taught yoga full-time for a year.

      Nadine Truong's directorial debut "Chopsticks" premiered at the 2007 Vietnamese International Film Festival (VIFF). Both "Chopsticks" and Nadine's second short, "The Muse", a dramatic short produced under the Visual Communications (VC) for Asian Pacific fellowship program "Armed with A Camera," screened at the 2007 VC Film Fest, the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.

      As a camera operator, Nadine shot the award winning comedy short "You've Got Male" aka "Postal Bride" (dir. Chris Nguyen, Ryan Kim). In 2006 she was a fellow of the Los Angeles Asian American Pacific Film Festival's 'Armed With A Camera Fellowship'. Additionally, she received the San Diego International Asian Film Festival's prestigious George C. Lin Emerging Filmmaker Award in 2010. Her feature credits include Someone I Used To Know (2011), Senior Project (2014), and I Can, I Will, I Did (2017).
