“How is that possible?”: If You Thought GTA 5’s 58 Minutes Long Credit Was Painful Wait Till You Play Assassin’s Creed: Shadows
Image
We are officially in the age of hour-long credit sequences at the end of games. Creating a game is not a single person’s job; it is a collaborative effort and requires contributions from a large number of individuals and Assassin’s Creed Shadows is the proof of it.

Rockstar Games’ GTA 5 is known for its long credit sequence. Image Credit: Rockstar

Video games are known for having big credit sequences; GTA 5’s 58-minute-long credit sequence was one of the longest until Assassin’s Creed Shadows came into the picture. You will be surprised by how long this game’s credit list is.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows beats GTA 5 in the longest credit sequence

Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ credit sequence is over 2 hours long. It would have taken a mountain of people to complete this game, and Ubisoft has not shied away from mentioning anyone who worked on it.

Cobra Kai Season 6: Return of a Legendary Dead Character in Karate Kid Franchise is Upsetting
Image
The second half of Cobra Kai‘s sixth season brought plenty of emotions, but not all of them landed well with fans. The idea of bringing Mr. Miyagi back for a cameo seemed like a great move — not just for the story, but for the fans too. However, since the actor has passed away, they had to turn to technology to make it happen.

The AI, however, didn’t hit the mark. The fake image didn’t sit well with fans, who took to social media to share their disappointment. While it seems the character’s return was carefully discussed and planned to honor the late Pat Morita’s legacy, the final result told a different story.

YouTube Millionaires: ScrewAttack Is “Still Here Kicking Ass”
Few gaming channels have been churning out videos for as long as ScrewAttack. Since its launch in 2006, the ScrewAttack website--named for a move from the video game Metroid--has provided compelling content for its dedicated community. While ScrewAttack is perhaps best known for its yearly ScrewAttack Gaming Convention (Sgc), it has built up a significant following on its YouTube channel, which was recently bolstered through a deal with Fullscreen. We talked to ScrewAttack co-founder Craig Skistimas about the video portion of his website: Tubefilter: How does it feel to have one million subscribers? What do you have to say to your fans? ScrewAttack: Obviously it’s very cool and an honor to know that we have an amazing audience. With that said, I feel like we have a much deeper connection to our audience because we’re out at gaming events and producing our own events and meeting as many fans as we possibly can.

Sonic The Hedgehog fan-made film airs on YouTube
Viral Video Aaron Birch Jan 11, 2013

Sonic the Hedgehog’s been getting the silver screen treatment, thanks to this impressive fan-film…

How far would you go to prove a point? A quick search on Google or Wikipedia? A few pounds and a “told you so!”? Or, would you spend masses of time and invest both money and a hell of a lot of hard work into creating a project to get your point across?

That’s just what New York-based Blue Core Studios has done with this fan-made Sonic the Hedgehog short movie. Created as a spec-film to scratch that Sonic movie itch and to prove that a real-life spliced with CGI Sonic movie is, indeed, possible, this 18 minute short introduces some of the game’s most noteworthy characters into a real-life world.

A prologue of sorts, here we see that the planet Mobius is under attack by the forces of Dr Robotnik,...
