Gkids unveiled the English dub trailer and cast for Naoko Yamada’s latest film, The Colors Within, on Dec 4, 2024.
The announcement comes ahead of the film’s U.S. theatrical release, set for Jan 24, 2025.
The trailer introduces the voices behind the three lead characters, who not only bring their roles to life but also perform new English adaptations of the film’s songs.

"What color are you?" GKids has debuted one more official US trailer for this beloved Japanese anime titled The Colors Within, set to hit US theaters in January 2025. In this new film from director Naoko Yamada, a girl who can see colors in people's hearts joins a band with two other people. The synesthete Totsuko can see others as colors. Honor student Kimi has dropped out of school but still pretends to attend anyway. They reunite and form a small band with Rui, who dreams of composing on analog synthesizers but whose mother expects him to become a doctor. Together, they find freedom, joy, love, through music. Featuring music by Kensuke Ushio, and animation by the studio Science Saru.
