Biography

    • Lisa Lloyd was born and raised in Texas. Her father was a petroleum engineer before retirement and her mother was a stay-at-home-mom. Lisa jumped onto the stage as a dancer at the age of 3 and continued studying dance through college. She trained in piano and voice as well, but began acting at Martin High School in Arlington, TX. She earned the role of "Best Actress" at the Regional UIL One Act Play competition in Texas and she and her fellow cast members won 1st place at the State level. Lisa was selected for the undergrad acting program at the prestigious Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. She graduated with her B.F.A. in Theater.

After graduation, Lisa moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and apprenticed at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater. She then toured with the Montana Shakespeare Company and moved back to Texas. Here she married her husband after the two had met while performing together at the Dallas Theater Center. They moved to Los Angeles soon after getting married.

Her first job in L.A. was as a background actor on "The Bold and The Beautiful". She then was cast in "The Young and The Restless" with a small speaking role. Opportunities grew for her and she joined the cast of "Prison Break" where, as a hostess at a high-end restaurant, Lisa's character turned lead, "Sara Callies" into the authorities after she broke out of jail. Lisa also played "Dolores Clark", the relentless reporter in the movie, "The Girl Who Believes in Miracles". Recently she portrayed home-wrecker, "Candace Johnson", in the Freeform Network's hit new show, "Cruel Summer". Lisa is also a traditionally published author of the book, "Chasing Famous: Living the Life You've Always Auditioned For".
