Her educational journey included stints in various Kendriya Vidyalayas (Central School) and culminated in her graduation from Lady Shri Ram College in New Delhi. Despite initial aspirations for administrative services and mass communications, Sakshi's trajectory took an unexpected turn when she auditioned for Doordarshan's film songs-based program, Albela Sur Mela, on the suggestion of a close friend.
